From the high-energy opening song, Christmas Groove," to the hip "Leave a Mark", this 40-minute kids' Christmas musical, Legacy of Love, takes you through the lives of seven classmates as they compete in the "Leave a Mark" contest to win a prize for their beloved teacher, Mr. Thompson. With tunes hip enough for the 5th grade boys, all age levels will love the energy and excitement of these songs. While the new, moving worship song, "Legacy of Love," will quickly become a favorite, it's the musical's soft, ballad medley, "One Star with O Little Town of Bethlehem and Star of Wonder" that will move the hearts of the congregants. This touching medley is followed by an excellent reinforcement of the salvation message focusing on the legacies in our own lives and the ultimate legacy of love, the Father's gift of the Son.

Teaching points focus on reinforcing the message of love and the importance of giving to others, not just at Christmas but throughout the year. Kids will love performing the wonderfully whimsical songs intertwined with the great story line. Together they discover the bigger picture of Christ's love and exactly how to minister to others.
